What we collect
Using Durance without an account collects nothing beyond what stays on your device. If you sign in, we store your email address and the counters you have created so those features can work. We do not connect to your contacts, calendar, or location.
What we do with it
We use signed-in data to run the app, bring back your counters after sign-in on another device, answer emails, keep the service secure, and fix problems. We do not sell personal information or show ads.
Signing in and syncing
Counters created before you sign in are copied to your account the moment you do. Account data is hosted by Neon.
Services used by the website
If you agree, this website uses Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager. ZeptoMail processes contact messages so we can receive and reply to them. Cloudflare Turnstile processes anti-spam signals. When a contact message fails to send, Sentry receives the submitted name, email address, enquiry type, and message alongside the error so we can recover the enquiry and fix the problem. Please do not send bank account numbers, ID, or other sensitive information.
Your choices
You can delete counters you own inside the app. For questions, email brad@durance.app. This draft still needs legal review before launch.
